In a letter to Japan’s Free Trade Commission, CAF is urging the Commission to reject Apple and Google’s compliance reports under the Mobile Software Competition Act as inadequate, and to take formal enforcement action—backed by court orders—to end the companies’ anticompetitive fees and restrictions before Japanese developers and consumers can realize the law’s intended benefits.
