This Privacy Policy explains how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by Coalition for App Fairness (“CAF” or collectively as “we”, “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect when you use appfairness.org (the “Site”).

CAF understands that your privacy is important and is committed to protecting your privacy and the personal information you provide or as you access and use materials on the Site, including the Site subscription pages or other websites or apps that post a link to this Privacy Policy.

CAF may change this Privacy Policy from time to time at its discretion. If we make material changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you an email notification). CAF is based in the United States. By accessing or using the Site or otherwise providing information to us, you consent to the transfer of information in and to the US.

We share information as follows:

Promotional Communications: In order to receive promotional messages from CAF, you must opt-in and confirm your email address to be subscribed to our list. You may opt out of receiving promotional messages from CAF by following the instructions in those messages. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.

Your European Rights

If you are located in Europe, including the European Economic Area, EU or UK, you may be entitled to additional rights under European data protection law.  You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information for direct marketing purposes. Other Privacy Rights

CAF operates globally and may need to transfer personal information that is collected on the Site or through other means to various CAF offices to operate our business efficiently. This could include third parties located in different countries around the world, including the United States, the European Economic Area, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. These arrangements may involve your personal information being transferred to various countries around the world where privacy laws differ and do not offer equivalent protections to the laws where you live.
