CAF Statement on Apple Violating Injunction in Antitrust Case

WASHINGTON, DC  – Today the Coalition for App Fairness (CAF) released the following statement after U.S. District Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers issued a ruling that Apple failed to comply with a court injunction in an antitrust case filed by Epic Games.

“American consumers, businesses, and judges have had enough of Apple’s lawless behavior and anticompetitive conduct. This ruling will enable developers to offer alternative purchase options without paying the Apple Tax, lowering prices for consumers. We look forward to continued action by the Trump Administration and bipartisan members of Congress to ensure a free, fair, and competitive app ecosystem.”
